Fairfield County is home to four of the State of Connecticut’s largest cities: Bridgeport, Stamford, Norwalk and Danbury. The area is cut through by the beautiful and rugged Taconic and Berkshire Mountains ranges. The county also borders New York State with the south facing Long Island Sound. For these reasons alone, it is sometimes difficult to find apartments for rent.
