Engineered Products Company’s (EPCO) Thick Wall Heat Shrink Tubing (HST) insulates and encapsulates electrical connections. The internal coating comprises an adhesive sealant that melts when heated by EPCO’s Heat Shrink Torch to easily and quickly create a moisture-resistant, soil-resistant seal. In addition, Heat Shrink Tubing used with sealant and the mechanical connector make it quick and easy to repair UF Cable. What’s more, this reliable process requires no epoxies, tape or separate mastics.
UL Listed for direct burial, EPCO’s Heat Shrink Tubing meets the 2014 National Electrical Code. Its 3:1 shrink ratio enables wider cable range and fewer tubing sizes, making it especially effective when insulating over large transitions. Excellent abrasion, corrosion, as well as environmental, UV and fungi-resistance round out EPCO’s Heat Shrink Tubing’s assets.
EPCO’s Heat Shrink Torch features a trigger-start ignition for fast, easy starts and a fully adjustable regulator valve and air inlet port for adjustable flame settings. It connects directly to any standard 14.1 propane tank.
